On October 21 and 22, the fourth edition of the annual Super-Sonic Jazz Festival will take place at Paradiso Amsterdam. This year the event will take place as a small scale, corona proof seated event as part of the Amsterdam Dance Event.

Talent development platform Super-Sonic Jazz started in 2016 as a series of concerts and club nights in Paradiso to provide a stage for the new wave of contemporary jazz musicians. An annual festival and the launch of the independent record label Super-Sonic Jazz Records followed. With experimental programming that blends traditional jazz with contemporary genres such as hip-hop, neo-soul, R&B and electronic music, Super-Sonic Jazz pushes the boundaries of what jazz culture means to listeners, enthusiasts and artists alike. The main goal of Super-Sonic Jazz is to create a fertile musical ecosystem in Amsterdam.

This year, the fourth edition of the festival will take place as a small scale and corona-proof seated event, as part of the official Amsterdam Dance Event program. 200 visitors are welcomed in Paradiso during two festival days.
